Exclusive: The AI for Architects White Paper + More AI Secrets 🤖
First look at our in-depth AI tool review and other AI updates in the AEC Industry.

Hey there!
It’s been a while—I hope you’ve been doing well. Life’s been full lately: juggling work, family, and travel. On a personal note, this year is an emotional one... my daughter Ana is heading to Rutgers this fall! For those of you who’ve known me since before kids—can you believe it?
On to other news. As you all know, over the past few months, I’ve been exploring how AI is affecting the AEC industry through the AI for Architects Podcast, where I explore AI tools reshaping our field. Now I’m proud to share that my team and I have recently published the AI for Architects White Paper—a 100+ page guide that scores and explains 50+ tools we’ve reviewed. No fluff, no sponsors—just a clear, practical resource to help you move forward confidently. 👉 View the white paper
Also, if you ever struggle with writing project descriptions (who doesn’t?), check out this masterclass from Nikita Morell—one of the top architecture copywriters I know. Her class “Writing Architectural Project Descriptions with ChatGPT” is packed with value—I joined her first one and highly recommend it. 👉 Join the class
I’d genuinely love to hear from you. Drop me a quick hello—or share what you’ve been working on. Let’s reconnect.

🏗️ Architecting With AI

Robots and AI help humans exist in future cities at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025. At the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, robots and AI are showcased for their growing role in reshaping the design, construction, and utilization of structures and wearables, both on Earth and in space.
Architecture today is driving AI ‘towards the direction that you’ve already preconceived in your mind’. According to architectural designer Tim Fu, AI's use in design and manufacturing may lead to computer systems taking on greater creative roles, with humans returning to artisanal production.
Beyond Renderings Lies AI’s True Potential in AEC. While AI has significantly impacted other industries, the AEC sector is still awaiting its defining moment, with its most valuable potential lying not in visualization but in understanding and aiding the actual design and construction process.
How might AI affect architects? A Yale expert weighs in. Yale's Phillip Bernstein, a former VP at Autodesk and architect, remains a measured skeptic about AI's potential to fully replace architects in designing buildings, though he acknowledges it will change their work.
Artificial intelligence "is not going to take designers' jobs" according to Blond and Harry's Milan design week exhibition. According to Blond founder James Melia and Harry's head of design Ryan Dougherty, artificial intelligence will enable designers to design "faster and better," as demonstrated in their Double Vision exhibition in Milan, which compared traditional design methods with AI tools.
